Latest Personal Branding Trend? Individuation

“Branding” in the business world usually refers to communicating what a company or product is known for. But a person can also have a brand, and identifying yours can be the smartest marketing move you ever made.
How do you identify your personal brand? Do you already have one? Are you happy with it?
Some celebrities with distinct brands are easy to spot. For example, you may never meet Kim Kardashian, but despite your best efforts to avoid news of her, you are bombarded with her doings constantly. She was one of the first celebrities named as “famous for being famous.” In personal branding, and especially in the celebrity world, the person becomes the product being sold to the public. Politicians are no different.
Individuation: Latest Word in Personal Branding
What about branding people in the business world? Establishing a consistent personal brand that your market connects with can be your most powerful strategy to build your business quickly. I like to refer to this as “Professional Personal Branding” or “Professional Branding” to distinguish it from the personal branding a celebrity uses.
